REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETING AN ONLINE COURSE

Please refer to the step-by-step instructions on your course home page (top window) for each specific course regarding the completion of your course. To complete the course and to receive your Certificate of Completion, you must successfully complete the following requirements:

  1. Complete ALL chapter quizzes in the course by answering each question correctly. You must meet the minimum score requirement (generally 70%).
  2. Acknowledge and accept the digital Student Affidavit prior to starting your course. The Student Affidavit serves as a “signed” document certifying that you will personally complete each assigned lesson of instruction. A “Student Affidavit” will be prompted on your course home page.
  3. Successfully pass a final exam. (Refer to your specific course for final exam passing requirements).

INSTRUCTOR/INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT

Instructor Support is available via email. Please email your questions to your course instructor. Instructor will reply within 2-3 business days. If you do not get a response please call us at our toll free number 480-782-8409.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Courses may be returned within 30 days of purchase provided the coursework has not been started and materials returned. Before 7 days, a 5% cancellation fee will apply to cover the bank credit card charge fees. After 7 days and before 30 days, a 15% cancellation will be applied. NO REFUND will be made after 30 calendar days.

COURSE EXPIRATION AND REVIEW

All course lessons on the computer must be completed within three months from the date of enrollment. After three months your course will be archived and deactivated. You have three months to access and review the course content including receiving your course certificate (if applicable).

MAXIMUM TIME COURSE EXTENSION

If you cannot complete your course within three months, then you may extend your course for a $25.00 (if allowed by your state). The extension period begins from the date your course originally expires. If your courses have expired, you may re-enroll again at a higher re-enrollment fee. Note: extension and re-enrollment are subject to requirements of each state.

FINAL EXAM RULES

Your final exam is timed and proctored. You must take the final exam in the presence of a test proctor. A proctor is a third party not related to you by blood or marriage, and cannot be a licensed professional (i.e. a licensed appraiser who has knowledge in the subject). You must pass the exam with a minimum score that is set by the state or federal regulator for your state. If you fail the first exam you may retake it with a different version (re-take fee will apply). For details regarding the final exam, please view your appraisal course information web page.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon completion of your course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. The certificate will be mailed to you. If you do not receive the certificate, please check your spam folder. If it is not in your spam folder, please email Customer Support at info@cannoneducation.org or call 480-782-8409. Your certificate will be archived after expiration of your course (three months). In the event the certificate is archived, a duplicate may be obtained by request. An administrative fee of $15 may be charged for issuing an archived certificate.

STUDENT BEHAVIOR/DISCIPLINARY POLICIES

When taking our educational courses, you are expected to comply with all policies as stated within the school catalog. If you fail to adhere to these policies, it may invalidate your eligibility for course credit.
